ALEX WANG| Senior Brand Manager, L’Oréal

Alex Wang is currently Senior Brand Manager at L'Oréal developing hair care go-to-market strategy for Garnier USA. Formerly, Alex led marketing for Sally Hansen US at Coty where he spearheaded the brand's diversity & inclusion strategy. Prior to marketing, Alex began his career in finance at Unilever and Newell Brands, with roles across brand, plant, and sales finance as well as FP&A. Alex graduated from Cornell University and is currently a 2nd year in the NYU Langone Part-TIme MBA.

 
 
 

ELIZABETH LEWIS | Founder & CEO of Brand, Style, & Bloom

Elizabeth Lewis is a branding expert, certified personal stylist and marketing leader who helps professionals, creatives and business owners to achieve their vision of success. After spending nearly a decade in corporate brand management and marketing roles at companies including Colgate-Palmolive and Penguin-Random House, she founded her own company, Brand, Style & Bloom! by Elizabeth Danielle, a nationally certified Women’s Business Enterprise and a NYC certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE).

Companies such as The Walt Disney Company, Booz Allen Hamilton, Hearst and J&J have invited her to speak to their employees, clients and members. She is also a featured instructor on branding for Verizon’s new Small Business Digital Ready program and is a career coach at the NYU Stern School of Business. 

Elizabeth has a Masters in Business Administration from the NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She also earned a personal styling certification from the School of Style in Los Angeles and is a graduate of the inaugural cohort of Goldman Sachs’ Black in Business program. She lives and works in New York City.

 

ADAM CONLEY | Director of Human Intelligence (Consumer Insights), Mars Wrigley

Adam Conley has worked in Marketing and Consumer Insights based roles for over 15 years with a focus on developing and driving brand strategy for a number of consumer packaged goods companies. He is currently the Director of Human Intelligence (Consumer Insights) for North America at Mars Wrigley. Adam is a passionate presenter and has had the opportunity to present about Consumer Insights and Strategy to audiences in the United Nations in Switzerland, the Pentagon in Washington D.C., Conferences in London, U.K., and Cannes, France. He is also a regular guest lecturer here at NYU.

Adam is originally from Upstate New York, and has also lived in Connecticut, England and currently resides in New Jersey.

KENNY GOLD| Managing Director, Head of Social, Content and Influencer, Deloitte Digital

Kenny Gold joined Deloitte Digital in 2021 as a managing director and head of social, content and influencer. In this role he will be helping Deloitte Digital’s clients meet their business goals through best-in-class social media strategies and activations. Prior to his time at Deloitte Digital, Kenny was Executive Director of Social Media at Grey Group NA. In this role, he led agency-wide efforts to deliver social content and activations – acting as the creative agency’s liaison with all social platforms. His leadership and hybrid talent reflected the agency’s expanding set of skills, better connecting creativity, technology and human insight for the betterment of brands. Through these efforts, he helped teams build and execute award winning work for Procter & Gamble, Glaxo Smith Kline, AARP, McCormick Spices and Applebee’s.

Before Grey, he was an integral part of building the social team at McCann NY and led social strategy for various award winning PR agencies. He has lectured on social media marketing at several universities. while also driving effective business driving ideas for brands like MGM Resorts, Nestle, General Mills, Jose Cuervo and the NY Lottery. Kenny has a strong background developing famous work – having made central contributions to various awards including Cannes Lions, EFFIES and Shorty Awards.

When he is not voraciously scanning Twitter and Instagram for the next post to share, he is at home on the Upper West Side of New York City with his wife Casey, daughter Madeline and Havanese puppy Leo. Rema Vasan is Head of North America Business Marketing at TikTok, Rema Vasan is responsible for building innovative marketing solutions that enable the industry to become TikTok fluent and wield the power of the platform to drive business impact. She is focused on helping brands develop strategies to engage with their communities through powerful, creative storytelling and understand TikTok's full-funnel impact.

Prior to TikTok, Rema led global marketing for some of the biggest and most recognized brands at Pfizer, P&G, J&J, GlaxoSmithKline, Coty, and more. She has lived and worked in Asia, Europe, and North America, championing brilliant creative work and business-driving ideas, capabilities, and innovations. Zoe N. Stewart is responsible for helping Instagram identify and

Sitting at the center of Product, Brand and Advertiser strategy, Zoe
has a unique perspective on the ever evolving digital landscape.

Prior to her time at Instagram, Zoe worked at Sotheby's and American
Express, developing digital strategies and experiences for new
channels of business. Zoe graduated from Cornell University and is
currently a second year student in the NYU Langone MBA program. When
she is not avidly scrolling through Instagram, she is at home on the
Upper East Side of New York City with her husband Ryan and Miniature
French Bulldog.

Ali’s digital marketing knowledge and expertise is built on 10 years of experience working in marketing strategy and advertising solutions for major publishers including WarnerMedia (formerly Turner Broadcasting) and The Weather Channel, most recently developing and marketing cutting-edge, award-winning solutions for Fortune 500 brands.

SUZY WELCH | Business Author, Career Expert, Stern Professor, & Entrepreneur

 

Suzy Welch is a New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling author, management consultant, professor, and board member, and, for the past several years, a founder and entrepreneur, helping launch and build the innovative music tech start-up Quadio Media.

Born in Portland, Oregon, Suzy received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 1981 before joining The Miami Herald as a reporter. After seven years covering beats from politics to banking, she left daily journalism to attend Harvard Business School. Graduating as a Baker Scholar in 1988, Suzy then joined Bain & Co. for several years, specializing in manufacturing clients. Suzy joined the Harvard Business Review in 1995, and was named editor-in-chief in 2001, where she led the publication's reinvention and substantially increased readership. After leaving HBR, Suzy co-authored the international best-sellers WINNING and THE REAL LIFE MBA with her late husband Jack Welch. On her own, Suzy is the author of the New York Times bestseller 10-10-10: A Life Transforming Idea, a guide to values-driven decision making.
